“So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this,
no one left out, no one left behind. I know you’re already doing this; just keep on doing it.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (The Message)
Being an adult is weird—but it’s better when you’re not doing it alone.
No judgment. Just Jesus… and maybe tacos or bowling.
The Adult Table is a laid-back group for 25–45+ year olds looking to build real connection, community, and a little laughter along the way. It’s perfect for Millennials and Gen Xers who want authentic friendships without the pressure—because adulting can be tricky, and navigating life is easier when you have others at the table.
Why “The Adult Table”? Because we can’t sit at the kids’ table anymore—but we can still have fun!
There’s no set meeting time or place—just spontaneous pop-up hangouts and events. Sign up for our Pop-Up Plans text updates and follow the Encounter Church Facebook page to see what’s coming up next!
And don’t worry—you don’t have to attend Encounter Church to pull up a seat at The Adult Table.
Everyone’s welcome, so invite your friends!

Community Groups
Get Connected. Go Deeper.
Community Groups are a vital part of the health of a church, offering a space for people to connect, grow, and care for one another. Real life change happens in the context of authentic relationships, and Community Groups are where those relationships are built.
Groups meet on various days throughout the week—some on weeknights Monday-Friday, some on Saturdays, and others on Sunday —so there's something for every schedule. Whether you're part of the Encounter Family or just looking for a place to belong, we want everyone to have the opportunity to experience meaningful community through a Community Group.
