“Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.
Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.”
Romans 12:9–10 (NLT)
Community Groups are a vital part of the health of a church, offering a space for people to connect, grow, and care for one another. Real life change happens in the context of authentic relationships, and Community Groups are where those relationships are built.
Groups meet on various days throughout the week—some on weeknights Monday-Friday, some on Saturdays, and others on Sunday —so there's something for every schedule. Whether you're part of the Encounter Family or just looking for a place to belong, we want everyone to have the opportunity to experience meaningful community through a Community Group.

Interested in leading a Community Group?
Groups don’t have to be formal or follow a specific curriculum—some gather around shared interests like exercise, health, parenting, Bible study, or even hobbies like crocheting.
If you're willing to create a space where people can show up and do life together, we’d love for you to consider leading a group.
You don’t need to be a Bible expert—just someone who’s open to connecting with others.
Ready to take the next step? Let us know you’re interested in leading, and we’ll help you get started!
